Need some suggestions as feeling demotivated after promotion

I joined as a Data Engineer with an initial offer of 6.5 LPA. After 1.5 years, they provided a mid-cycle hike, increasing it to 7.25 LPA. Now, I've been promoted to L2, with an updated offer of 7.83 LPA. Should I consider discussing this with HR or my manager? If so, could someone guide me on how to approach this conversation? Or should I start exploring other opportunities?

Bro don’t be feel demotivated, look at your hike increment. It’s good better then I guess 3-5% which is maximum for other employees.

Bro for motivation you have to do work, either your with your current employer or next new job or in your own business.

You can’t skip this! ⛰️🪽

Agreed on that point.Like I am not running for this fact that I have to put my efforts fully anywhere I work. Its just I have been performing good for 1.5 yrs in same project which has been acknowledged by even my client team and it feels just bad when you know at same position there are L2 which atleast have 10 lpa as base.Just wanted to know how should I approach HR regarding this.

8LPA for a DE is definitely low, you should look out for opportunities
