Need some perspective
I’m 30 years old, currently earning around ₹1 lakh per month. Due to family responsibilities, I can barely set aside ₹10k for mutual fund investments.
Two things are weighing on my mind: 1. 🏠 Will I realistically ever be able to purchase a home of my own in the next few years, given my financial limitations? 2. 💼 On the career side, whenever I apply for new opportunities, HR often mentions they don’t have the budget to offer me more than what I already earn — so interviews don’t even move forward.
Has anyone else faced a similar situation? How did you break this cycle — whether financially or career-wise? Any practical tips on savings, investments, or navigating such job scenarios would mean a lot.

What's your yoe, skillset, I know folks from Healthcare IT background

I have about 8 years of experience, with around 6 years in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and US Healthcare processes. My skillset spans operations, process training, stakeholder management, compliance, documentation, and talent development. I’ve also been a team lead and corporate trainer.
Would be happy to connect with anyone from Healthcare IT / HealthTech backgrounds to explore possibilities.
Tbh, you should not try to buy a house as of now. Try to save as much as you can and just invest it in a Nifty50 index fund.
You should be easily able to get more than what you are getting paid. I guess you are applying at the wrong companies. If you are a software engineer, then I'm sure you can earn more.

Thank you for your suggestion; it makes sense. I’m not an engineer but a healthcare professional
