Need some hope for the future
For the past few years, it feels like things have only been going south. I have made progress in life but it just looks like the future of most of humanity, not just me just keeps getting bleaker.
What I see is just bad news after bad news. First there were new wars starting, then the job market took a tumble and somehow gets worse every year, then AI comes along and this revolutionary technology seems to be used for more harm than good, then comes the epstein files which give a disturbing glimpse into the secrets of the most powerful and influential humans(without even a trace of humanity) and how they might be responsible in setting up the grim situation we have today, and now even more wars, people dying and supply chain disruptions.
Meanwhile, the situations we were facing already just got worse. Pollution, corruption, religious fanaticism, work culture, infrastructure, mass surveillance you name it! Everything seems to be getting worse. And then there is the parasitic billionaire class which is trying to shift the blame to hardworking and essential members of society for the damage it caused to fulfill its own greed.
Given all this, I see no likely scenario where it improves and things get better. The wealthy might say that the economy is good and there is a bright future ahead but the economy no longer serves the common people. I have no hopes for the future, opportunities are going to go away, there will be intense competition for the most basic necessities.
However, these are just my thoughts. I understand that information online and in media is often polarizing and doesn't give the full picture. There might be possible good developments I'm not aware of. Maybe the world might get better than it is today.

We are entering a phase where a hard reset is essential for world to continue. As described in religious texts, There will be a golden age of Kaliyuga and then it is all downhill from there. It is just the way the world is designed to work. We are just here to soak in a fraction of it, so make it count. You can hope for the golden age to come soon and that’s about it.
Given how long the timeframe for these phases is, idts we'll see the good phase in our lifetimes.
How do I make it count? Live in the present and just assume I'll die tomorrow?
Also these days I don't feel like putting effort into anything. Nothing is going to be worth it when the world is soon going to be unliveable anyway. Where do I get the motivation to keep going in life?
The one practical thing I can leave you with is ‘Acceptance’. You just accept whatever is happening for whatever reason not in your control. It will help preserve sanity and make you more liveable in the present. If you are not ready for ‘Acceptance’, you better make it your life’s mission and do something about it.
You just feel bad cause these people involved are the ones you idealise and look up to. U just found out their dark secrets. The big rich ppl in the west aren't built in organic ways, they have been doing terrible practices / rituals since way back. You just heard it today and were awestruck. What do u think, about the other millionaires? Do u think u know all about them? Nah, you busy fighting for "romance in train" rights.
I never idealised and looked upto these people. I'm just disappointed that they got to do evil shit with basically no resistance or consequences.

Totally agree. Seems like only a few foolish individuals deciding how to drive the world. it is a disgrace that they are not even ashamed of killing so many innocent individuals behind their greed of acquiring more energy sources and satisfying their fragile ego. We do create international treaties and peace making organisation to look over such scenarios, but at the end it is Jiski Lathi uski bhains. Situation seems to be getting worse for this so called middle class group, and we see very little hope. We can also not deny that we are only the one who choose these leaders who come in power, form policies and shape the world where we are landing
Absolutely agree. What appals me is the total lack of resistance these rotten people face. They do the most illegal evil shit with absolutely no resistance or consequences.
I'm not even sure we can really choose who to get in power. If a good person tries to fix things, they're eliminated by people who have no moral compass.
Actually, I think I understand why we're seeing "evil" win and the good lose. The good is held back ny morals, ethics, empathy etc while evil is not.
