Need Some Advice: Surviving and Saving in Bangalore with a 40k Monthly Income
How can a software engineer with a monthly income of 40k survive in Bangalore (Electronic City)? Please help me split my daily expenses and suggest how much I can save.

Minimise expenses to rent, food. Try to save as much as possible, try restricting investments if you want to until you accrue a backup fund

Don't eat out. Do meal preps and cook quick good food.
Save!! Start with SIPs. Start even with 3k, doesn't matter. But start. And keep increasing. Ruthlessly.
Don't go for random memberships. Gym. Multiple subscriptions etc.
Don't drink anyway. If you must, gather the friends at a house party. If you must go out, don't drink.
Do your taxes right.
Don't splurge on Dopamine boosting wants (Brands, Iphones/Samsungs, Accesories, Watches).

- Uninstall Zomato, swiggy, blinkit, zepto etc.
- Walk wherever you can
- Ditch ₹200+ coffees
