Trending @Infosys; Need release from toxic project

My designation is Senior associate consultant and I joined as a lateral 1 year back. I am right now aligned to a project which is very toxic they expect you to be available 12 hrs . Also I have no support whatsoever from my seniors , they are not responding on time and then scrum master scolds me in calls like your progress is very slow and all that. I am just so done with this. Any idea how can I get released from this project. I am also thinking about learning new skills and changing my domain . For that even I am not getting time because of working hours in this stupid project. Please suggest.

Be firm, communicate your issue and ask for release.

Is it that simple? You think this will work?

I am in a very similar situation as yours, except that I get the support from my seniors when needed and my scrum master does not scold me. I am planning to move out by clearing the Bridge program PP exam, but like you I too am not getting much time for it. I would suggest making the best of weekends, and in weekdays if possible do your preparation/learning for an hour or twobefore you start your office work

Complete 18 month period in that project then find another opportunity in other project. Ask your manager for release. They will release. Without completing 18 months they will not release.

Better to switch then. Infy have strict policy for project change. Or you can just drop your performance if you are making loss then only they will release before 18 months.

Continuously ask for release involve higher ups be polite don't panic. Every 2 days send reminder, do minimal work.

You also scold your scrum master in the calls and tell him that you have dependency on seniors. Once you start behaving the same, they might release you.
