Need reality check and career guidance

I am 25M, IITB '23 (B.Tech + M.Tech in ME). Worked for 2 years in a Day 1 consulting firm (non-MBBK, more specifically Auctus Advisors now renamed to YCP Auctus), switched to a strategy/ founder's office role in a B2B Series A startup in Bangalore in June 2025.

My current CTC stands at 26 LPA with 21L fixed (base), 4L on 12 months completion (deferred payment/ confirmed bonus), 1L ESOPs (vesting is quite long: 4 years to vest completely).

The work doesn't involve just strategy but rather it's pretty generalist, I'm looking at Finance, Ops, New initiatives, marketing, involved in each one of these functions more or less.

The hours that I have to put in to meet the expectations are increasing and I am wondering if I am being paid enough. What are the industry standards for a person with a profile like mine? What do you think should be my target in the next 2-3 years? How much of a hike should I expect if I stay here for the next year and how much if I switch? What should be my goal (in terms of performance) for this year to be better placed financially for the next year?

I'm appearing for CFA L1 in a few months to enhance my profile. What else should I do to ensure that I rise up the ladder? What could enhance my profile?

In terms of interest, I want to enter into a VC role, I tried for it last time, but couldn't get through although I got decent feedback from the interviewers.
