
Need quick suggestions please???
Hi guys, right now I'm in a client project and I have given an interview for Capgemini, 1st round is cleared and 2nd round is scheduled for tomorrow, Capgemini HR is asking if I'm able to join last week of January at least, asked me to confirm? But I haven't even resigned yet and TCS is having 90 days notice period right, and I've already mentioned earlier to Capgemini HR, who should I check with this? How to get an immediate release from org?
What do u guys suggest?
- After getting an offer letter from Capgemini, if I resign how early can I be relieved from TCS org? 2.what should I confirm with Capgemini hr now?

Tell CG that you can join only after 90 days whatever that date is. Tell TCS that you need to join in 30/45 days as it is emergency (put whatever story that makes sense to you and if you have the confidence to pull it off).
Goto TCS upper management and vigorously fight for 30-45 days early release.
Negotiate use every trick in the book. Now with all this theatre two outcomes are possible.
- TCS agrees then tell Capgemini that you are joining early and if you deserve atleast a joining bonus as you risked everything,
- TCS does not agree then join Capgemini on previously agreed upon date (formal 90 days date that you had communicated earlier in writing) and tell HR I told you so.
I have used the above multiple times in my career and have even made my UK client wait for 3 months. Everything is possible. Never fall for pressure of the org you are joining. Always comply with the org you are currently working till last day. Safety first.
