Trending @Capgemini; Need project as a ngt java developer

I joined Capgemini in 2023, and after completing my internal training, I was on the bench for 13 months. Recently, I got tagged to a project, but there is no requirement for NGT Java and Spring Boot there either. Should I wait for a relevant opportunity within the project, or would it be better to request a release? What would be the best course of action?
