Need opinions — GoPro or DSLR as a gift?
I’m planning to gift my boyfriend either a GoPro or a DSLR camera. He’s been talking a lot about how much he loves GoPro and how he’d start vlogging on YouTube with it. But I’ve also been wanting a DSLR for a while now — something that could be useful for both of us. What do you guys think would make a better choice — the GoPro for his vlogging or the DSLR that we both could use?

Both are useless. I have both. Very specific used cases and in practicality none is used except the phone.
Same... I also have those for last 8 years... But not even used 8 times together
DSLR isn't practical anymore when iphone cameras and GoPros exist. Both are more convenient compared to DSLR.
If he is truly going to start vlogging…then go with a go pro. You know he would be super happy to get it from you.
Write a letter expressing things and , wrap up a go pro in a gift wrap.
Go pro latest action edition is good if you really want to utilise it
