Need opinion urgently layoff

Hi guys I was let go last week of June because project did not go well and company didn't have bydgets. Entire team was let go. However when interviewing in last week of June I mentioned to the hr my project is not going well and can leave anytime and I didn't mentioned already I have finished my role. They might offer me a job now in July. I didn't basically tell HR at the start on this. Will I still be ok? If i show my resignation and last day as same because my previous company mentioned that it will reflect in my experience letter, will it be an issue?
