Need opinion on investing in US Stock

So I am looking at diversifying a bit. We are probably talking about 40k$-50k$ and I am primarily looking at a mixed risk bag of US stock. Semiconductor market: Nvda, Avgo, Smci, Amd

What strategy would ya’al suggest? What other stock should I be looking at? Wanting to keep the maximum number of unique stock to be 5 and of course, preferring to not loose the principal lol. Medium term goals (~2y for a hopeful 2x+). Thoughts? 💭
