Trending @Capgemini; Need information on how much time we can get on bench before finding another project. And logging from different location while on bench
I am Getting released from my Project after 3 years, due to location constraints. Management wants me to work from Hyd. But i was logging from Gurgaon and my base location is Pune. Level C2.
Since this year Feb I am logging from Gurgaon due to Medical reasons at home, but not getting approval for same while I was in Project.
Also while I am getting released by next week, I tried to talk to my Practice HR, they are saying transfer to Gurgaon is not possible as their are no Projects in Gurgaon for my practice.
So mostly I will be on bench for some time.
I will try to find Project in some other practise but how much time I can get like this to find new Project and logging from different location while on bench.
Situation is not good it's better to take tranfer or change
As per my colleague it was mentioned in one of practice calls that max 3 months. If we don't get project in 3 months we are eligible for layoff as per process. Please plan smartly and make sure your appraisal is locked by previous manager else they simply give low rating when we get relieved during appraisal cycle. It happened with me in 2022
