Trending @Infosys; Need info on DevOps
I am in support project past 2 years and fed up with it. Was trained in java angular at mysore but forgot all not in mood to revise again. Found devops relating to my current project. How is the market for DevOps for 2.5yrs exp person????
Go for it.
Even if you start learning now, it will take 4 to 6 months to complete the course and assignments.
You can apply as a 3 years exp DevOps Engineer.
But don't waste your time with less than 10k priced courses in the market, they just teach you basics. At the same time couple of courses in the price bracket of 20K to 25K also not worthy. Don't fall for the trap of AI based approach for DevOps.
Make sure the course curriculum has below topics:
- Atleast couple of Gitlab CICD projects apart from Jenkins.
- ArgoCD
- Much focus on Containerization/ Kubernetes along with Troubleshooting and Cluster upgradations.
- Promatheus, Grafana and ELK are okay, but industry is moving towards tools like DataDog, Splunk.
