Need honest opinions and guidance

I finished my MBA from one of the new IIMs and graduated in 2025. I have an existing work experience pre MBA of 3 years as a mechanical engineer in a mining and metallurgy company. Just started my work as a Consultant 2 months back and I don't like the travel and the role in general. I honestly did much better work as a site engineer. Heck I liked my retail internship more. I have no tech experience but I want to switch to product management roles. I know strategy/Gen Man type roles would suit me better but I liked marketing during my MBA a lot. I hate the fact that I never got shortlisted in sales or marketing roles. How can I prepare for Product management, tech or non tech. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
