Need honest answers from Appraisal Managers and Reviewers
Hello all,
If you were a manager or reviewer for some one for the appraisal please let us know how the band get decided.
- Is it decided by both manager and reviewer ?
- Is it sole decision by either one of them?
- Is it decided by Account Owners or Project owners ?
In my team we are scattered and working for different clients for different project but we are from same Team (Horizontal unit)
I was recently on-boarded into a new project in Dec 2025 but appraisal was done same manager and reviewer in the name of earlier project.
I got good rating of 4.61 and B band. My manager told he has given only the rating but band is decided by the project. Is it true ?
If yes which project decided old one or new one?
In the new project some one who got same rating but by different manager got A.
Both are in same project at the time band release. which is deciding factor here ?
You were released, its a wonder you got A band. Usually only c will be provided
It is also depends on ur current ctc. When they see budget perspective they come, they conquer and they win. Nothing can be done unless u r a key resource to the project.
It will be decided by initially Manager and then your Global Lead
