Trending @Capgemini; Need help to understand if my friend should join CG or not!
Hello everyone, Recently, one of my friend joined the company but is sitting on bench and giving interviews. Somehow he has not been able to crack the interview and he is now worried about his job security. Could you give your insights in such matter please?
One of my another friend is worried to join CG sighting similar reason.
Also I have noticed several people are on bench and they are also worried for reasons such as:
No interviews for projects are being setup for them. What if they failed to clear few interviews?
Pls guide us on these concerns!

Pls don't join CG for the obvious reasons you mentioned it's pretty bad.
He should not join CG. It's very bad, first of all they don't have projects, I have been on the bench for the last 5 months and my friend who also joined CG is on Bench from last year. Our joining date was the same, I was fortunate to get into a project but she didn't get that chance. My experience with the managers was not good. I was allotted a telecom project where we have to do night shifts too. She didn't tell me that we'll not get any night shift allowance in this project, after 3 - 4 months when I asked her that CG provides night shift allowance she said no since this is 24*7 shift project so you'll not be getting any allowance.
This is just one story, there are many other things too. I'll never recommend joining CG to anyone, at least not now because the current situation is very bad. They don't have any projects currently. Ask your friend to join TCS, WIPRO or INFOSYS. They are good in terms of project reliability. My friends are already working in these companies so I know.
If he is a fresher, he can keep connecting with his/her HR and attend GenAI related trainings which has started recently. This will widen the scope of getting new projects and reduce the worry about job security
