Need Help please..
Currently, I am working at Deloitte as a ServiceNow Tester. Have been here for 3 years and 6 months since 2022 after my BSc in Statistics.
Due to my interest in data analytics and statistics, I joined deloitte as an associate analyst from campus recruitment. My interview was for a Statistics based role but was put into ServiceNow.
Now, I want to switch to a data analysis as it is long that I have worked here. Though I have developed transferable skills and have also started to work on the current skills required to change by enrolling in a masters program in data science, which I am focusing on and learning
Wanted to get thoughts and suggestions on the following this -
- Will I be considered a fresher if I want to change my domain in the new job
- Will I even get a job with the current situation in the market not being good. With respect to question 1 if I am treated as a fresher.
- Is it recommended to change internally at deloitte (which seems tough), but I can check and later switch after getting domain experience.
Please help and give me some suggestions Really confused
Just for reference, I am currently earning around 5.2 LPA after promotion, and Dad also retired a year back.
