Trending @Accenture; Need help navigating HR pushback on notice payout before moving for higher education - feeling very helpless

For context, my last post - https://share.gvine.app/9paAhpVZr34vCwyV6

Hi everyone, I’m in a really difficult spot right now and could use some guidance.

I’ve worked at Accenture for 4+ years - joined straight out of college and have consistently given my best. Unfortunately, like many in service-based setups, I’ve been massively underpaid through this period.

Now, I finally got the chance to go abroad for higher education. I informed my company and requested early release, but HR is demanding that I pay for the remaining 2 months of the notice period. Throughout our email exchanges, I’ve been asking them repeatedly for a waiver - especially since this exit is for higher studies, and I genuinely do not have the money to pay.

  1. In the last email, HR asked me to “comply” with the payout, but I never gave consent for the payment — only for the revised last working day.
  2. I’ve already spent all my funds on flights, essentials, visa processing, and I’ve also taken an education loan. I’m left with nothing to spare for a 2-month salary payout.
  3. It feels really unfair — after giving my all to this company, I’m just being shown the door with bureaucratic resistance. I didn’t expect red carpet treatment, but this is unnecessarily harsh.

I’m feeling helpless.

  1. What options do I have?
  2. How important is a relieving letter in such cases, especially after spending 4 years at one place?
  3. Has anyone been in a similar position and successfully gotten a waiver?

Would really appreciate any advice or solidarity. I'm trying to leave in good faith and just wish they'd do the same.
