Trending @Cognizant; Need help for project allocation
Hi all, I joined in September 2023 as PAT and now I'm PA. I'm in a project from last November and I'm billable from then. There's no work allotted to me yet. I'm thinking of getting a release from the project and to look for other opportunities. I'm from ADM. Can I ask for release? If so can anyone please help me to get into a new project as it's been hard for me without any work from one year. Please help me 🙏
Updated:- HM and PM agreed for release when I find a better project. Can anyone help me or refer me for a project. BU:- ADM Tech stack Java, spring boot, php, AWS
Talk to your HM, with proper reasons they will release you
Had spoken to him. He said get a project before release ( he said in a doubt whether I can get released or not as all are saying for until months they can't release you) rather than looking in tmp. So looking for help.
If you are hired through campus placements then it's not possible for you to get a release from your current project until you finish 18 months in Cognizant. Start learning new stuff related to your domain. They will definitely ask you what you did or what you have learnt as there is no work allocation to you. Start asking your project manager for work allocation. Most of them are not allocated to project from the time of joining. Atleast you are billable Be happy for that.
Billing is the only good thing that happened to me compared to my friends. Yes I'm hired through campus.
