Need help for assigned task
I am new to this project and technology. What if I am unable to do the task that is assigned to me? They have assigned me an issue which was developed a few years back and no proper service document is there. The teammates who have 3-4 yrs exp in this project are also not interested in helping!
is this a support project or development project? what's the technology? Are you familiar with this technology? Do you want to work in this tech? Will this tech help in your career? do you understand the code? Able to debug it? did you receive any training for technology and project? did you talk to teammates why they are not helping? Any specific reason? They might give you some idea why they are not interested did you talk to your manager? if nothing works for you then ask for a project change or account release? Assuming you are a fresher, it will be difficult but you need to fight for it If nothing works then Focus on your learning and don't put much efforts in the project.
