Hi guys , i am being offered a frontend dev role from EY for adobe client (will be working 5 days wfo from adobe office). And that office is in my hometown. Are there any options to convert this contract position to FTE, or can i apply to adobe while working as a contract employee. I wanted to understand should i consider this offer , pay is good - around 21-22 lpa fixed for 4 yoe , i have another offer from a not so well known uk based product base company , but the point is i have to move out of my hometown for this offer.

Contractor to FTE movement mostly depends on what kind of contract EY has with Adobe. Very few companies allow that. Check with EY.

Since you will working from Adobe office, most likely you will not feel like an EY employee because you will engage with Adobe folks only on a daily basis.

Will it add weight to my resume since i want to switch to top prod base company after 1-2 years , and my prior experience is service based. And do contract employees face any issues as compared to fte employees?

I think experience will definitely help in future interviews.
No issues, you will be treated exactly like an Adobe employee.

Re converting from contract position to FTE may be very difficult, companies like EY usually have strict rules/contracts.
