Need help and guidance for a medical emergency and WFH

Hi guys, currently I'm caring for my mother who is undergoing treatment for cancer. She's in need of extreme care and to be honest I don't want to miss any second I have with her.

The company has a policy for 3 day wfo hybrid, but was fortunate to get permission for WFH on an extension basis.

I'm constantly under pressure that they may call me to the office at any moment and I'll have to leave the job. Been trying to see if anyone hires WFH junior level engineers currently but no luck.

Any help / guidance on what to study where to apply and which companies might consider my situation genuine and support would be extremely helpful and will be eternally grateful.

You should focus on finding a company that values family and offers flexible work options. Look into startups or smaller firms, they often have more lenient policies. Also, consider remote job boards like We Work Remotely or FlexJobs.

I'm trying for this but haven't been receiving any calls.. also the startups don't offer medical insurance which is EXTREMELY necessary right now

I'm desperately trying but first finding a vacancy is extremely hard no IJP except if you've connections , secondly even though I had skills of dev they put me in infra as support.. I'm thinking it's better to just switch than to try to get into HCL software. Any further guidance will be extremely helpful
