Need Help

"I'm a developer in a 4-member team, all with 2+ years of experience. Despite similar tenure, my colleagues rely heavily on me for technical guidance and logic. Last financial year, our team completed 70 automations; I contributed 40, while they shared 30.

Although I don't work excessively, my smart work approach ensures timely completion with high accuracy. I've requested a hike from my manager, citing my significant contributions. However, they cited company policies (TCS rules) and promotion requirements.

How can I take this and get hike.?

First, document your contributions clearly. Request a formal meeting with your manager to discuss your value. If that doesn't work, consider escalating to higher management or HR. If all else fails, explore opportunities outside.
