Don't leave TCS, Work life Balance, lot many Projects, Can take any type of Roles, Every year atleast a basic Hike...
Apart from all above...if we go for a single year onsite...we can Save a descent amount.

Those are important points.

This math is totally wrong, there is no WLB for everyone in TCS. The basic hike doesn’t even beat inflation. You won’t be able to live with just the salary if you work in TCS for your whole life.
This onsite lollipop is a trick and based on the statistics alone, not everyone will be able to go onsite. Even if you are able to go, the pay is not that great so you will have to be frugal to save money. Why live frugally in overseas if you can live lavishly in India.
Otherwise you will have to switch company when you reach overseas, then there is a way to make more money. But then you will have to be a boot licker to go up the list of onsite opportunities.

I am with TCS 2 years only. Yet to see the good work life balance so many associates claim. Moreover TCS have the worst admin, HR, policies, infrastructure I have seen in last 15 years. Coming to your question I am not sure about the comfort zone you are having in TCS but I would urge you to get out of it. For 15 years 28 LPA is just par. May be in TCS it is good because hike in TCS almost non existent. 12 LPA is a lot of money. Even if you stay in TCS it might take 7-8 years to reach 40 LPA.

My experience every TCScer with decent salary people living life peacefully but whomever getting higher hike living luxurious life but huge tension in debts. Money should give peacefulness and harmony not the tension. I am new to TCS, though many tension in QVA cut etc etc but huge respect on the above said point. Please consider my above point on peacefulness as well. Thank you.

I haven’t seen any performing delivery partners in TCS having work life balance. Moreover DP is not a leadership position. Going up from there is really difficult and politicised. If you have those kind of connections the. Stay in TCS. Else move out.

Both these roles do not have work life balance. TCS does provide Job security, not sure of the American company that you would be joining. Now depends on your monetary goal.. if you would like to earn more you can join the American company, if not then stay with TCS

Both the roles have no WLB, and even if it is there these roles are not at all leadership roles + WFO + QVA cut + 9 hours as per policy + bureaucracy, regionalism + politics at its highest level + formal dress code + single digit salary hike + no learning + work is not as per role + security is not gaurented (slient layoffs are very common and even normal layoffs happened and will continue, considering the current situation and future visibility).
