Need guidance to start freelancing career

Have gone through a similar dilemma. In the end I decided to improve my technical skills and move to a FANG like company. I see a better yield from that in the long run and also gives me more free time to myself without getting overwhelmed . But I think ultimately it depends on person to person, if you are more interested in creating your own brand I would say go for it, what’s in for you to lose right !? You can always give it a try!
