Need guidance on switching career path

Hi guys, I am currently working in Infosys as a System Engineer. I am working on a project and i don't see myself growing while doing the work I am doing currently. Therefore I am thinking of switching to SAP MM or PP. Is there any SAP professional that could help me where should I start and how can I advance myself in SAP. Your help will be much appreciated.
