Trending @Accenture; Need guidance on switch

I’m a analyst working as a developer with YOE 6 . I’m being underpaid(8.5lpa). My manager told me that she will give me promotion in last May but didn’t happened. Then she said, she will surely try in last November, she tried also but I didn’t get promoted.

So she told me she will give in this May for sure. Until then as a compensation, she asked me to charge for c shift but work in normal shift.

Also, until now I’m doing WFH(raised exception as returning mother). Now from may they are asking me to do WFO once a week. I have a 1 yr old baby to take care and visiting office will become problem since I’m living in a different city.

Now I’m being underpaid, and also asking me to return to office.

Now I’m thinking to do a switch to some company that supports WFH? Or wait till may to see if I get promoted? But if I get promoted, how much % of salary will get increased? Will it be enough when compared to switch?

Also, not sure if I want to switch I’ll be able to find WFH or not.

Please provide me some guidance here.

I would recommend you to switch. Even with Promotion you would get default 24% hike or. In best case you will get 40% but with 6 years of experience you can get more 100% hike. But if you have good technical skills then you can expect 20+ at 6 years of experience.

You shouldn't have stayed here for 6 years, after 1-2 years or 3 max should've start looking for better orgs, it might become a lil difficult to switch after working for so long especially if your skills are not too good
