Need Guidance

Hi all, we all know how messed up the market is right now. I currently have a work experience of 1.6 years, and I am thinking if I should go for a masters in CS abroad or not. Considering the market scenario abroad I am a bit afraid to take the big leap, but right now I can see the scenario is not much better in India as well, facing difficulty in switching also. I would like to concentrate on one line - masters or job switch. Please guide me.

Do masters only if your target is AI ML or data science and from a well reputed university. That will boost your career.

Don't waste time and money doing masters in software engineering. Won't add any value to your career. Better continue doing the job instead.

Doesnt most of them do masters mostly for working abroad? Also given visa issues is usa still worth it ?

I really doubt USA right now, especially the issues with H1B is something which might become a huge tension later
