Trending @Wipro; Need guidance| 5 yrs in Wipro |

I have served 5 years in wipro. I have realised my fault that I should have be more proactive to switching as I am really underpaid. Was part of two different projects and hence had varied experience. I need to switch to a better profile but for that my current project schedule is too tight. Can I ask for release so that I can prepare for better opportunities. If yes, then on resigning will I get 3 months notice period salary or not?

Currently I am holding no offer letter.

If you’ve completed 18 months in your current project then you can ask for rotation but that again is up to the manager’s discretion. I would suggest to better prepare over the weekends and apply for jobs only once you’ve prepared fully.

You are never fully prepared. Jump into the pool, and you will learn to swim.

Hope you’re a quick learner as the 45 days LOP period approaches you at a very fast pace.

Always Better to get one offer letter and then prepare for 3months.

Resign only after getting offer. This is my suggestion. I have seen people ended in a situation where they have no offer and 90 day notice period is exhausted.

I don't think your package is more so, if you have emi's / bills to pay stay in wipro try to get offer letter if you financial freedom just jump into pool I think there is more opportunities for 5 years of experience
