Need guidance

Hi, I am a marketer.. seeking a role in project management. I was into pre-sales but recently lost my job. Now I am thinking of doing a course in project management from PMI or some other institute. Could someone pls guide if I should do this project management course and is it possible to get a job from doing a course, is it possible to move from pre-sales to project manager? What should be the process or any other course suggestions?

Also, pls suggest if PMI is good or should I opt for some other institute to do this course.
