Need Genuine Suggestion
Hi guys, I am currently working in a startup which many of you might not know. I am not satisfied with my current CTC. Is it a good time for switch ?

Now you aren't satisfied because you are looking at the money to get satisfied. Use this money to do something which will give you satisfaction. For me it was archery. You might try shooting or driving or travelling. That's how you will understand about yourself. And if you start thinking about ctc as the reason for change do mark my words in 1 month you would think about jumping out from the new company as well
Priorities are different for each of us.
I get it that you might be comparing your ctc with other tier 1 folk who are getting maybe 50lpa at sde1. But man no way 27 base is less, enjoy what you have right now and when you feel you have to change the company for more 💲just look for offers which meet your expectations. Why crib about it
I mean in general it's pretty fair, but there are limited set of companies who'll pay even more

why is that a problem, I mean if you're just aiming for higher salary, you will never achieve the pinnacle, there's always a bigger fish. but there are more imp things, like growth, culture, reliability etc what if a company pays you let's say 40-50L and lays you off in some time. with the skills you mentioned below, there are thousands of people at your level, do you want to compete with them in this market where even getting an interview is quite tough these days let alone land a new job?
You're already near the top band of most SDE1 offers, focus on skilling up and getting the next promotion instead. Also don't expect a massive jump in a switch offer either, you're already getting paid in the top percents!
