Need Genuine advice & Suggestions. Feeling stuck in my career🙏, while I'm trying so hard to change it.

Yoe- 3 Ctc-6.5 Tech stack- sql, power bi, python(learning)

This is not a rant post at all but I'm in extreme anxiety since couple of weeks and a continous headace. And I'm expecting some good advice and suggestions

I'm working as a data analyst but due to no work satisfaction I'm trying to change my job more than 6+ months.

Initially i was getting interview calls once or twice in 2 months but suddenly since last month I'm consistently giving interviews but no luck at all(already gave 5-6 interviews in 2 months)

I'm unable to get an offer letter. And i don't know why. Sometimes getting rejected in 1st round and sometimes in 2nd but result is same, REJECTION ❌️

My questions are..

  1. Do we need to give all technical & other answers to go for second round?

  2. What i observed, even if i gave 9/10 answers, i got rejected.

  3. Getting rejected based on python, sometimes it is sql, sometime it is excel as well and offcourse case studies too.

I seriously don't know how much and how hard questions i should prepare.

  1. Are business/data analysts role becoming that tough now?

The problem with my work is, it doesn't include any technical skills. While they told me during interview but nothing like that in actual work.

Kindly help and suggest 🙏

You're not alone; rejection after effort hurts, especially when you're doing everything right. But sometimes, it's not about answering every question perfectly; it's about alignment and storytelling. Focus on clarity, confidence, and projects that show real-world impact. Need clarity? Talk to mentors on Hiked.in, they’ve been where you are and know exactly how to guide you forward.

Yes ! with time the role of business analyst is still evolving and, it is becoming challenging for freshers to grab a good opportunity.

First of all, you have to be good with basics of everything like python with basic questions related to data structures (as at the end you will be managing the data) - to check your problem solving skills.

Learn the project management tool like Jira (currently in demand).

Also, be good in transforming and importing data in Power BI with DAX queries.
