Trending @Accenture; Need clarity on Earned leave (EL)/Casual(CL) treatment during notice period

Hi everyone, I’m planning to resign soon and had a doubt about leave encashment. I currently have around 40 earned leaves, and I want to make sure none of them go to waste.

Can someone clarify:

1. Are earned leaves fully encashed when leaving the company, if not fully then for how many days can it be encashed?

2. Do earned leaves continue to accrue during the notice period?

3. What happens to casual leaves, are they encashable or do they lapse?

4. Also, is it usually allowed to take EL/CL during the notice period?

Would appreciate inputs from anyone who has recently gone through this. As I will then plan my leaves accordingly before resigning 😁.
