Hey everyone! I’m a 24-year-old Security Consultant with 2 years of experience, currently based in Kolkata. For my next role, I have options to work in Kolkata, Bangalore, or Hyderabad.
I’ve heard Bangalore might offer better job opportunities and smoother transitions, but I’d love insights from those with experience in these cities.
Which location would you suggest for growth and networking in security consulting?

I would say u can relocate to Hyd and explore it . Opportunity wise its much better than Kolkata. I am also from Kolkata location , married and from opportunities wise it’s bad . Companies are not ready to pay much and once u cross 20lpa mark u will get a hard time trying to switch
Even though the obvious answer is Bangalore but now a days a lot of pan-India opportunities have come up. So you can stay in Kolkata or go to Bangalore/Hyderabad - all depends on the offer u hold
