Need Career Guidance: On-Site vs. Switching Jobs
I have 12+ years of overall experience and am currently working with TCS. Recently, some of my colleagues have been affected by the ongoing layoffs at TCS, which has created uncertainty. At the same time, my US visa process (not H1B) is under review by USCIS.
My main goal is to work in the US for at least 3 years so that I can repay about 70% of my loans. However, given the current situation in TCS, I am confused about whether I should wait for the on-site opportunity or consider moving outside of TCS for better stability.
👉 I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts, experiences, or suggestions to help me make the right decision.

Unrelated but is there a lot of saving after moving onsite??

It totally depends tbh the nature of your role the package offered and so forth. What is your stack, roles, day to day, and if you are jumping what role would it be ?
