Need career guidance

I have been working in TCS for 4.5 years in a GIS project and my manager doesn't allow me to get released. So i started learning Snowflake and linux. Is it worth it, is it possible to switch companies??

And I don't have any real-time project experience in snowflake. Could you please guide me guys. I feel like i have already wasted 4 years of my life.

Same here bro , I have wasted 3 years on a legacy application for which no vendor support has stopped in 2010 , I am in IAM domain , trying to upskill in current tech and switch .
