Need Career advice.
Hi Everyone, I am having 4.3 year of experience: Company 1(startup): software engineer (8 month) Company 2(HCLTech): Data engineer (3.6 years) Company 3(Large scale startup): from last 3 month as data engineer. Here I am working as data engineer from last three months in Indian startup, although it has several other offices in US also. When I joined i didn’t got any KT, assigned some task. From very first week, manager make mind that I am slow, do not work properly and in calls with other teammates speak this regularly. One teammate informed me.
Team culture is now made toxic from me, lead does not interact properly.
I am currently in probation period of 6 month which is ending on 13th april. I am planning to switch in mnc it is good decision?
Will they consider my profile? As I am leaving my job in 6 month. Will they give any hike ? Currently my package is 11 lpa fixed and 1 lac Variable which is paid to be annually.
Yeah, u can reason that the work culture and work itself didn’t fit you so you planned to switch in probation. But it will be a bit hard for you to get selected given u spent 8 months in first company, they will see it as a red flag that u will jump ship every year
