Car's in India are unbelievably expensive and of poor quality. Unless you can claim depreciation, do no buy. You are just contributing to all those ladli sasuma yojanas, and your car will sit for 12 hrs in your parking.

Maruti Suzuki cars fit the description except for that SUV part. Also safety is a concern. If you drive only in cities you can with like swift, baleno ...etc.
