I am having a simple and important question. I was just going through Cognizant news letters. And I have came accross a question that, OCTOBER Promoted Employee will get HIKE in NOVEMBER?
Why because this time they extended the hike month from August to November, also they will give hike up till senior associate, also they have changed hike fashion lastly it was twice a year but now it is once a year and also they are give hike to 80% employees
Please help me to understand. Because, as per old policy when Brian Humphry was CEO, generally to recieve hike member should be on same salary structure for 6 months.

Dude earlier people were eligible to be promoted as associates soon after completing 2 years but now they have mandated 2 yrs 6 months, so losing that 6 months with reduced new associate salary makes sense . Its one at the same time and the hikes are lame with single digit hike. Be happy for them ,we guys atleast got good bonus twice a year rather than present legend CEO
