Trending @Accenture; Need advise - too much work in notice period

Hello Folks,

I am currently serving notice period. My project leadership keeps tagging me to support external clients beyond my working hours even though I told them that I'll support only during my IST working hours. This was never used to happen before notice period. They used to respect my working hours boundary. but now, they are very adamant that I need to attend client calls in US hours which is not feasible for me and they falsely gave commitment to client that I'll be available for support.

Do you think it is a planned move and something is going on in their mind? Please advise how should I handle this much level of work stress. I'm kinda losing my interest to work for my project anymore but have to serve notice period as per policy.

Thanks in advance.

I would say only work for some hours during the day and let them bark. I'm also facing the same situation I've told my SM straight away to not expect much from me as I'm on NP. Now i skip calls daily and work when I want to. It's that when I work i finish it fast so noone comes and argues with me. I mean what's the most they could do.

True that.. they are unnecessarily targeting NP

Can't use EL during notice period right?

Just pretend to work and delay it as much as possible

Sometimes when I feel there is too much dependency on me I just apply for 4-5 days leave so in my absence they will complete yeh work and the dependency get decreased. But this works only for few weeks.

Yeah but it’s not a feasible option in notice period
