Need Advice regarding Tcs retaining and salary negotiation

I was on bench recently and then i got the job offer worth 28LPA where as my CTC in tcs is 21LPA. Also i have then assigned a project where there is urgent requirement of my skillset. Will they negotiate salary if i put down my paper as i am just assigned that project.

If you’re c3b then chances of retain are bit low not impossible.

First of all, congratulations! Not sure why are you looking for retention, but it will all depend on your dependency and skill set. If it’s a niche technology; they may talk to you for retention. However such thing takes time (after 45 days of your notice period). But yes I would suggest you to resign first.
