Need advice on transitioning from QA role to DevOps
I’m a automation QA with almost 9 YOE. I want to transition to DevOps and have talked to multiple people about it.
One of my friends in Amazon US suggested DevSecOps.
Other one in Google said to go for site reliability engineer role as it will not be replaced by AI.
Any suggestions?

Devops/DevSecOps engineering is still super in-demand and pays well. To get into it, I'd suggest starting small – work closely with your project's DevOps team, see what they do daily, learn the ropes, and tackle real-world challenges building and maintaining pipelines. Once you're up to speed, ask to join the team full-time. I don't know much about SRE, but the same approach should work there too.
