Need Advice on Resigning
Hi TCS folks, I have got my H1B visa 2-3 months back. Despite bad experiences previously here in tcs, I decided to stay in tcs as the visa was getting processed already and also I have some personal reasons. My relationship with client team members were smooth and I had word with them regarding my visa and also work stuffs. As our development team is composed of members from our client team as well as from tcs so it was more like one team. But until recently, after my visa arrival, things turned and the situation is my hard work, dedication to the project all seemed wasted after that incident. My manager had not given any support to me. After all these things, I don’t want to work with same people again and putting the hard work for something which is not valued. I have spent many sleepless nights, crying in the bed due to incidents and now don’t want to waste career further by staying here as the pay package and career growth both are not good here. But my main question is, since now I have H1B, will they allow me to resign from the company?? Please advise.
Nobody can stop you from resigning. Do what is good for you. Don't resign without offer. I was in similar situation few years back and now I earn so much money that I never imagined in my life.
Thank you for sharing. One question which is bothering me is, won’t there be any penalties or consequences if I put the resignation because they have put money in my H1B processing, (though I never asked them for USA)
Also , will you please share how did you overcome those challenges and reached where you are now? I admire it and to go to new heights, both financially and career growth perspective.
