Trending @Accenture; Need Advice: On Notice Period but Client Not Informed – Being Assigned Heavy Responsibilities
Hi,
I’m currently on my notice period with Accenture, and I have about a month left. However, my client hasn’t been informed about my exit yet, and Accenture has clearly instructed me not to disclose this to the client either.
Meanwhile, on the client side, they continue to assign me major responsibilities — including asking me to take ownership of several critical tasks and to raise access requests for multiple platforms. Since they’re unaware of my upcoming exit, the workload and expectations are increasing significantly. I'm in a bit of a dilemma here: I don’t want to disrupt the project or create any trust issues. But at the same time, I'm unsure how to balance this workload during my final month, knowing that I won't be around to follow through on everything.
Has anyone else faced a similar situation? How did you handle it? I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to navigate this professionally and ethically.
Thanks in advance!
