Need advice on notice period and joining date

Hi everyone, I recently got selected for a new role and told the new HR that I can join on coming Wednesday. But I haven’t resigned yet in my current company, and my official notice period is 3 months. I’m worried about how to handle this situation and request the new HR to extend my joining date. What’s the best way to communicate this so they understand?
