Need Advice on feedback

I am on my PIP right now and so far my feedback has been positive. Though these meetings have been online and I don't have anything on email around this.

So should I ask my manager for the feedback in the email or not?

I am having second thoughts because i am thinking that if I ask them for the feedback in the email they may take it otherwise and might not be rational for my future feedback.
