Need advice on choosing health insurance for parents
Hey folks, I work in standard chartered bank as an SDE, and they don’t provide health insurance coverage for family. Can anyone explain me whether to start premium with the one company is offering us (it will be deducted from salary) or to opt premium from outside my org like medi assist or something.
can someone help me choose the right one, and if anyone was in this confused state, please share how and why did you choose which one!!
Thanks in advance:)

I got health insurance for my parents last month, here are my two cents
1-Hdfc ergo optima secure (it doesn’t have lock the price, so after every 5 year price will increase)
2-Niva Bupa Reassure 2.0 titanium + (it doesn’t have as good as hdfc cashless network, but other on paper benefits are good).

I have niva bupa for my complete family, and I have good experience in terms of cashless at metro cities. And apart from company policy get your personal one too with good sum insured, I have experience where now I can't buy a new policy for one of the family members.

Always have a personal health insurance, with today’s market, layoffs are quite common.
