
Need Advice on Choosing Between EY GDS and Cognizant Offers
Hi everyone, I need some guidance on my job switch. Currently, I’m working at Wipro with a CTC of 6.7 LPA. I recently received an offer from EY GDS for 10.5 LPA, which I accepted, and my last working day at Wipro is April 14.
However, today I received a new offer from Cognizant for 12.5 LPA. Now, I’m confused about whether to stick with EY GDS or move to Cognizant.
Can anyone share insights on:

Work-life balance, growth, and stability at EY GDS vs. Cognizant

Whether my offered packages are decent considering my experience (5 years in Salesforce)

Any other factors I should consider before making a decision


In the long run, EY is much better any day.. 3 years down the line, it will open up unexplored avenues for you.. From being woth Wipro in 2025, and then with EY, you could be with Deloitte, KPMG, PwC and other Consulting Big 5 in 2028.. at more than thrice your current package

GDS will give u much better growth and hikes while Cognizant might offer better WLB, choice is yours.

5 years with wipro in salesforce at 6.7 was pretty less. My brother got 40 lpa with accenture in 2022 with 7.5 years exp. he got Kpmg at 18 lpa before that with 5 years exp in 2019-2020. He is a Manager in accenture now with 50 lpa and total experience is 10+

Don't join ey gds at all, i left that company 4 years back within 5 months of joining, it's a messed up place, the onshore team passes only grunt work to gds. Cognizant is way better than ey gds ,dont go with money, it's just a rat trap
