(need advice) Not getting appreciation or recognition, like others are...

[ context] I'm currently working in a xyz project and feel like the team ( call them A consisting of onshore folks + offshore) is not recognising me, (leave about appreciation.) like they used to do it earlier when joined but it's not the same with the rest of the colleagues.

[question] I'm a rational person, so just want to know if something is cooking inside, that I need to be ready for. Put papers?? I don't like to be treated use and throw, that's what I'm thinking.

[performance] I'm doing the heavy lift which my particular team (call them B, internal mostly offshore), knows, Im working beyond my working hours. to talk about my performance Yeah I'm doing average just like others are but maybe don't speak enough just work and not involved much in discussions ( although irrelevant for me most of the time). or still have not learnt mnc culture, you know what l'm talking about...

One rule of office: Never assume anything abt others. When colleagues are succeeding, they don't need to show off how hard they work. When they are struggling, they won't show that either. According to our perspective, others seem to get disproportionately rewarded. But in reality, they might be working their ass off.

We don't have visibility about how others spend their 24hr. Don't assume anything. Focus on your responsibilities and ignore about others. In the long term, you will get where you deserve to.

On what you can do do:

Reach out to your closest teammate and ask. Exchange notes on your work, your approach. Try to let them your difficulties (if any) and get to know theirs. Interaction with your colleagues might illuminate your more. Some might come off as reserved and uncooperative, reach out to the next one.
