I got a call from Vega Intellisoft for a role at Tata Technologies. Payroll will be handled by Vega, but they mentioned I’ll be transferred to Tata Technologies after 3-6 months.

1. Is this a common practice?
2. What should I watch out for in such arrangements?
3. Are there any risks of the transfer not happening as promised?
